@John ThedfordAdding to my last post; the statute is missing the language necessary for you to assert that it must be held in segregated account until such time as it is adjudicated.The statute simply states in 83.49(3)(a) and (3)(b) that both parties are not limited from either party to litigation of actual damages.

I have another property with that same situation that had no problem getting insured, however.For Traveler's/GEICO, I met the inspector at the house myself so I know she was in the right place and that is what is so odd about the assertion that I live there...I feel like they just decided to dump me for whatever reason.
