Is touch up painting of the interior of the house something that I should have to pay for or should this come out of the security deposit? 

It seems like there is always something you can add to the punch out list (deep cleaning, touch up paint etc.). 

I’m just going to do some cosmetic touch ups on this home, no full on BRRRR since it’s still new to me.

While I'm there installing a faucet, I'm also cleaning the exhaust fans, fixing the doorbell, painting some touch-ups, snaking drains, etc.

The second one is really well maintained unlike the first one will require some touch up.

In the previous 10 or so years, I have had to paint over the existing wood deck twice over, once entirely, another time a touch up.

Consider this:In 2014, a paint touch up job used to cost us ~$300.00.

It is a single parcel with 1 2 bed 1 bath residence I would be living in for a few months to do some minor touch ups and converting it into a rental.
