The thought came to mind to ask this question because I've had my personal washing machine and dishwasher both have problems about 2 weeks ago, and I have successfully fixed the washer with a $35 part from Amazon (after watching a few youtube videos), and the part for the dishwasher has still to come in.

I'd ask them if the handle just jiggles around completely loose, and if that is the case, the wire clip just needs to be re attached - 2 second fix and then wash your hands.

If yes, I sell that stock and use the loss to offset the capital gains I will have from the sale of my ESPP shares.If you really don't WANT to sell anything else in your portfolio (that will cause a loss) you could do a 'wash sale'.

Last year I looked at 7 properties that had solar. 5 of them were “Unbuyable”  at the same price as non-solar homes. 1 was a wash and 1 was paid off and it sold for about 1% more than non-solar homes.

With the right targeted marketing to people in the Northeast & Midwest, appropriate amenities for the audience (you’ll want to have super solid washer and dryer for assorted horse laundry, places to put saddles, a solidly equipped kitchen, places for kids to study and parents to work, etc) you’d be able to distinguish yourself in the marketplace.
