Gas Stations are a declining "fad", due to the fact that all the big companies are getting into the C-Store business.

Also have a few 15 yr mortgages, same deal, little more cash flow, but good equity each year.Bottom line, while I see what you are saying, but I do not think you fully understand the difference between the TK hucksters and the well organized TK businesses that are interested in a long term business model and not a fad business.  

I've been looking for a new diet and this one just might help me lose weight and get a few deals.

On the West side, the Tremont fad I would say is already in full swing as you can make the argument that it was part of the beginning of the resurgence of the West Side in the last 5-10 years.

Mold is a recent fad, causing insurance people to freak out and the victim mentality to proliferate.I had some bad tenants with a mold issue years ago.

Designers and manufacturers always have to change the latest fad in order to prompt consumer demand.

It's practically impossible to install a grab bar in this bathroom without a complete remodel, but a handicapped toilet should just barely fit.Of course, it's hard to know during a rehab that one property might attract obese tenants, so pre-installing a toilet just for that reason doesn't make a lot of sense unless the property is near a diet facility.
