Austin led the nation's major metros in estimated popular growth each year from 2010 to 2020, and the latest chamber numbers add credence to a belief among many local leaders that the region is poised for even more growth.According to the tally, more than 70 companies — roughly half of which were new to the area — announced plans to create 11,753 positions for the metro through April.

I call Chambers of Commerce to learn as much as I can about business activity in the area and I would call or visit City Hall to find out what they're doing to attract businesses and residents.

I'm currently living at the park, working on grass roots marketing (flyers, signs, joing chamber, etc.), I've done some Facebook and Google stuff with really so/so results. 

If you happen to have a failing drain field that uses 4" corrugated tubes, I'd recommend switching over to a chamber system.

It's good to get out of one's own echo chamber to form accurate pictures. 

Some methods I am familiar with is BP events and possible chamber of commerce meetings.

I would call the local chamber of commerce as well as local brokers to understand the vibe of the town.
