My primary house has wired smoke alarms with battery back up but my rental is only required to have stand alone battery smoke alarms and not even the wireless communicating ones.    

And I control that with wireless thermostats.

I would get units that will wireless set off the other alarms.  

To lower the amount of the data plan that you use (and end up paying for overage), try to access using your home wifi - if you don't have wireless network at home, you might consider getting one set up.

You will have to get the Lasershield Cyclone which is a wireless monitoring tool that uses the cellular network.

Offer second month free, or convert one small unit into a wireless hotspot with some vending machines, ANYTHING to get some attention and set you apart from the others.Got Pics?
