Great idea, but uploading an image of my drivers license is an invitation of identity thief.

The easiest/best way would be to view the actual SS card and verify the number printed on the card is the same as what you were given and the name matches their driver's license. 

Also, look at the address on their driver's license.And check where the evictions happened.  

We focus on the Sunbelt states where net migration is taking place along with other economic drivers and favorable demographics for better returns.

Unless such coverages are stipulated in the LEASE, there is no legal basis for the LL to pay a dime for damages.I knew about and secured renter's insurance back before seatbelts and liability insurance was required for drivers.

I think a better service would be to simply list previous landlords for a given tenant, searchable by drivers license number/state AND/OR first/middle/last name.  

In my experience, outside of Charleston (which is just a beast of its own right now) competition in the metro areas actually drivers repair costs down.
