In 1937 house or apartments had very few circuits and the  code today  calls for 20 amp circuits to kitchens, a receptacle every 4' of counter space, GFCI near sinks, bathrooms and basements etc.  

I'm renovating a 1970s 1600 sq foot rambler that needs all new duct work in crawl space and a 3 ton package unit.  

I came across an opportunity to purchase a property that I am leasing for office space. 

I believe that may come in the form of commercial office space.

Also, based on the apartments I'm familiar with, the storage spaces are usually small.

You could easily get all lower end SS appliances at you local Sears Outlet for around $1500 to $2000 (fridge, dishwasher,stove) The counter space is small.
