I’ve been filing my own taxes for years but as my rental portfolio has grown I think it’s finally time to get a pro to take it over.

I have been told by the treasurer that the owner has until the deed is filed to pay the taxes and fees in full and then a full year to file a case to attempt to prove the sale is invalid and that is the only recourse they have.

Ok I talked with one today he gave me some general information about what papers he would file and suggested down payments.  

I have not had to file eviction in over eight months now, for 60+ units.  

OR they quoted you some "non-qm" 7% interest rate for a "bank statement" program, and that turned you off.Your 2018 was very good for business, and you recently filed those returns.

Or they might just file for bankruptcy and not pay anything and create a new HOA.

In my opinion, you're limiting the ability to sell your note if you keep the UPB the same and defer the balance owed.We're "stuck" with a barely re-performing note in which the borrower filed Ch 13 BK.

Hopefully the lease does not auto renew for another year, but I would look I to that.Best case, you can have them out by August.Look at their application, if the previous landlord has it on file.
