I will throw this out as well, if you have and qualify for a Roth, you can do it in a Roth as well, and never pay tax on the gain, the biggest challenge to any of these are the cost of a QI is high, you cannot put "sweat equity" in, and can't draw any profit till you draw retirement.

So, I guess it depends on you, as the wholesaler, what you want to invest in and how you want to protect that investment (time, money, blood, sweat and tears).I believe that transparency and ethical behavior from the wholesaler is imperative.
