Don't let greed make you gamble with your reserves is all I'm advising....in fact, I'd put some of those reserves in physically held precious metals for two reasons - they won't deflate, and it adds an extra obstacle to spending them foolishly.There are owner-financed investment properties out there that make sense, the $10k could cover closing costs on a couple of those.

I dont want to use a platform that will not be supported in a few years

(I'll be corrected quickly if I'm wrong ;-)Equator (used to be called REO trans.com) is a new or revamped electronic system or "platform" that BoA and other institutions are using to try to help "streamline" the processing of Short Sales..From what I'm reading though, BoA has not gotten the hang of it yet and it hasn't made things any better yet...but maybe if they get it going properly it will help with SS's..

The bidding war is not as likely in today's market and is a gamble unless your buyers list is really active and you easily sell all your properties.

I entered several deals into their platform and response was slow and usually entailed one sentence.

There is a great opposition growing against the RFA and there are several new candidates who are running on that platform alone.
