I own a plot of land in Ocala (specifically Silver Spring Shores) and get letters from investors weekly about purchasing it.

There are some real war zones in Ocala - like the Shores, Marion Oaks, or the Forest to name a few - well known for crime and drugs.  

I have talked to Heirloom Properties in Duluth as they have a great reputation and they said they may extend their services to the South Shore in the future.

The North Shore is fantastic, but the seasonality of the STR business makes things pretty tough. 

Although with Covid I know the cost of materials has been higher so they may need a little temporary adjustment.  

Marion Oaks and Silver Springs Shores are good areas for rentals. 

These forces created a temporary market imbalance of an oversupply of guests chasing an undersupply of rentals. 

It's unsafe to allow them to stay in the house because most people who don't have power will find other ways to provide power/heat that aren't safe and that are a potential fire risk.You should consult with the police and/or city inspectors that called you, and ask them how to proceed in light of what the power company told you.Keep in mind, even if they are removed from the home in this case, it's likely only a temporary solution because once they get the power restored they'll be allowed back in the home.
