It's sad and it just goes to show that people do not appreciate what they don't pay for.

The man I spoke to was sad that the previous owners left as they were good friendly neighbors.   

An old LL I knew once told me to always leave a couple of serious-looking but easily-fixed problems for the city inspector to find.Ain't it sad to have to play these games?.....

With the tenant only paying $335/month and taxes (and insurance) going up, I need the taxes reduced or she will have to sadly start paying more money.

As a fellow avid skier/boarder, I've sadly come to accept that there are very few, if any attractive STR markets that are good for skiers.

Rarely mentioned (very sadly) is the advocation to always rent for 12+ mo prior to allowing a RTO buyer get a new loan so as to turn y9our gain into long term cap gains vs ordinary income. 

Sad situation for sure.
