I'm also looking for some mentoring and other sources of funding to get my first deal started.

Hello,I have been reading quite a few books and most commonly speak of the importance of having mentors; Especially ones that are at the level of success you aspire to reach.I am always on the look out for as many mentors as possible!

I try to make a point of picking 3 things every day to move forward towards my goals (e.g. posting my Newbie posting on BP, reaching out to BP members to begin networking, and seeking a mentor to truly take a step forward in my process).

So it's like having thousands of mentors at your fingertips. 

I'm looking for a mentor that can help me get going. 

I read Benjamin Graham' (Warren Buffet's mentor) book, The Intelligent Investor, and it's amazing how the principles are applicable to anything including real estate. 

I listen to the pod-casts, read a ton of books and forums posts but need some one-on-one advice and possibly mentoring specific to my situation.

I have also been looking into " freedom mentor" as I would feel more comfortable with a mentor, but willing to take help from anyone in the game. 

Who is the best real estate mentor to learn from that has the best success stories and best advice and straight to the point method!

Long story short I've come to the conclusion (like many others no doubt) that a mentor is likely the best course of action for me.
