If you have the chain of documents that support your story, you may want to make some noise in the law enforcement direction.

Meals are an often abused area of tax deductions that the IRS commonly screens for.  

The business income comes into play if you are providing more of a Bed & Breakfast or Executive Rental concept where there are significant additional services provided such as maid service, meals, etc.You've also got Account Closed providing some advice that is a bit off base (Splitting the title with yourself???  

And, I do not like to talk other businesses down, but the big chains like H&R Block do not even require a Bachelor's degree for their preparers.  

I wish I could meet a wholesaler in Atlanta that:Markets for their own deals (not daisy chains)Doesn't write things like "do your own due diligence" (of course I will, but the wholesaler should do the research too!)

From the provider perspective, the primary reason for lower communication rates, especially during rehab, is that there is just no useful information to give, and using time to contact the construction team, who then has to contact the contractors, then everyone waits for an answer to be passed up the chain so Scott can touch base with the client just to say 'today they worked on plumbing' is simply not an effective use of time.

The ZWave stuff was...hit or miss and you have to have an automation hub near each lock or daisy chain some ZWave transmitter devices.

Unless I'm missing something, if I can't write off office space, mileage, business meals, etc. then I'm losing a lot of revenue with no tax benefit.
