As you appear to be new to this I would suggest picking a location that is easy for you to monitor.

MLS access is needed for this, and has to be monitored constantly, with very quick bidding and a thorough understanding of bidding strategies for HUD, Homepath, Homesteps, etc.

It would be difficult to monitor and stop anyone from seeing it before it's ready.

As far as local goes, i have been monitoring craigslist and the closest place to me (3 hours) that i have been seeing any "we buy houses" ads are in little rock. i have two other target areas about 45 mins from me and i don't see any of those ads for these areas.

I used orkin Sentricon Bait and Monitoring systems that works great.

My wife and I had freshly purchased our home when I originally posted and so we had a survey freshly drawn up with exact GPS coordinates (latitudes/longitudes, precise measurements to the inch, etc.).
