I'm not asking anyone for a handout and I believe in bootstrapping my way if necessary, if that's what the environment calls, but there must be an easier way for the little people like me to connect to someone that can at least be a mentor and say 'yes' or 'no' from time to time as I find my way.

I am hoping that I could find a mentor/coach in the Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia area who would be willing to work with me and guide me in the right direction.Also for someone who I new to Investing, what would be the recommended area to begin?

(Btw, I ended up going through with it junior year, and it was probably one of my happiest semesters!)

I look forward to using this site as a reference, and hopefully finding a mentor.
