I was wondering if any of you have ever attempted or thought about pursuing real estate opportunities by looking at obituaries and seeing if the deceased heirs would be willing to sell?

To make it a bit more complicated, the owner is deceased and the executor, who is also the beneficiary of the will, (not yet probated) wants me to have the property.

The owner is deceased and the property has been listed since early January 2019 for 25k, 9-16k under market value.

Once she can speak for her deceased father, then she can start the foreclosure process.

@Brian WertThat area is right on the border of the Trinity Vicinity neighborhood, which is a decent area in the city. 

I'm confident the servicer with the reverse mortgage will know soon enough that the borrower is deceased and then call the loan due.
