Hi BP, I'm looking for a real estate agent who is familiar with short term rentals/vacation rental market in the Surf City, Top Sail, N Top Sail Beach, NC.

My surf schools are fairly passive with manager most days.

I'd say only invest in books highly rated on Amazon, otherwise, watch all the webinars and YouTube videos you can, read and participate in the forums here, surf the net for answers to questions--don't just look for the quick and easy answer by asking here (unless you've researched and can't find/understand the answer, but researching on your own will teach you lots of extra things you didn't expect to learn), and maybe even try to get a job with a contractor or real estate agent or someone else in an aspect of realty that interests you. 

After reading plenty of RE books, listening to BPs podcasts, and surfing the web I am very interested in house hacking a duplex where I will live on one side and rent the other.

It helped that I was couch surfing and occasionally sleeping over at my job so expenses were very low.

Hello BP Community, I was surfing the internet the other day and came across a post where someone was advertising the fact that they were a private money lender.

So I'm sitting at home on BP surfing the forums checking out the daily content you know the usual stuff and the thought comes to me what would be better to buy a MFR or to build it ?

We also have a surfing event that is now part of the International Big Wave Competition in the  Nelscott Reef Surf Competition.
