Hi real estate friends,My wife and I recently bought our first home in Co springs area close to garden of the gods and other attractions in the area. to no surprise our interest rate is a whooping 7.1%, the main house has 4 - BD 2 B. our mortgage is $4009. the property we bought has an attached dwelling unit on the side of it, completely independent from the main unit we live in, we are currently renting it out for 2 years for a tenant for $1545, It has one bedroom one bath.My question is what are some ways to scale especially since in the current market (is kind of almost impossible)?

I’m talking about the kind of property you’re going to buy within a month or less and the seller just flakes out at the last minute.

I kind of doubt it since Airbnb isn't that popular in these parts. 

What kind of property did you end up doing as your next step?

just to be candid, unless you're using some kind of creative strategy... you need a really solid amount of cash including reserves. 

I would recommend for you to list it now and see what kind of leads you will get.

Someone paying 1,000 likely wants 100 hours of time as they will struggle with lots of stuff and blame someone other than themselves when they don't follow all the steps because they are lazy or don't want to put in the steps to lay the foundation.The foundation isn't sexy.
