(d) A public or private supplier of gas, sewerage service, or electricity shall not impose a lien against real property to secure unpaid charges for gas, sewerage service, or electricity unless the owner of such real property is the person who incurred the charges.But the water company doesn't like the law, so they pretend that it doesn't exist and I've had them tell me in my face, with me bringing the law in, that this doesn't apply.
