Any input from the more experienced here would be appreciated.Pretty ridiculous that your bid is double. 10% over is normal, 20% is a tough pill to swallow, but it happens, double the initial bid is ridiculous.

If they sold you the landlocked parcel, they would have been complicit in creating a prescriptive easement across the contiguous owner's land to service your parcel.
