There's just not the same demand as SFH.

They have an obligation to represent you, ensure your offer is presented, and demand a response from the listing agent.

There is a disproportionate tenant base with pets and not having a fence will alienate that group, but then again there are many tenants without pets and you may decide that you prefer doing business with them than the pet owners.Last thought:  this is something you could do as you go, and you can let the market "demand" a fence. 

Those markets will see more rental demand as rising rates will create more renters.

Meaning, if your property cannot demand a high enough rent to cover YOUR expenses (whatever they may be) then maybe we should be looking at other properties.

@Carissa Holmes Florida is a hot market right now Rentals are in high demand as many new built multi family are also going up.

Also, do what ever you can to increase your earning capacity by developing specialized skills that demand a high price.
