They may use a wide angle lens and add more light so the place looks larger than it is.

I think we too often see government changes through the narrow lens of our personal experience as landlords or real estate investors as opposed to the help it can provide others who aren't in that position of power. 

I think when one cuts down a lot of the silly things like this (and other things like trying to impress others or doing things because that's what society says) a lot of life's B.S. simply dissolves and you can experience life without a dirty lens.

Yes, the thesis is correct: we need to look at money through a different lens than our parents did.

It focused on being happy in the now and looking at life through a different lens and perspective.

It forces you to think through the lens that most real estate investors do, and it's what gave me the passion for real estate I have today.

You will learn many "lessons" with this first one, so don't be hard on yourself, just take everything in stride and look at things with a learning lens.
