I understand this might be a difficult question as investors usually aren't celebrities and don't become widely known, but I'd like to know about any really successful RE investors, past or present.I like to read the biographies of people that have what I want and see what they went through to get there.

If marketing a name it has be non offensive, non controversial, and a pleasant sounding name to all groups.

I have heard controversial feedback, but the two that are most concerning are the following:1.

Today, Monday, October 22, 2012, we celebrate our 8th birthday!

But outside-the-city locations pretty much only bring in visitors for vacations (which almost always happen June through August), Christmas, and Thanksgiving, with the odd visitor here and there who's celebrating a birthday or anniversary.What all that means is that you have to plan carefully.

@Stephen Anderson I appreciate the info on wholesaling.Aside from my lack of knowledge of the actual details on how to perform this type of deal (contractually), it seems there is some controversy as to whether you are acting as a real estate agent.I found an article and lots of suggestions in the forum about it which suggested getting your license to make sure you aren't crossing any boundaries.

If your last name is "Jones," your trust can still be called the "Smith" Living Trust, and you can do this right at closing, meaning that "Jones" never appears in public records at all (a trick celebrities use, or so I hear, after paying a lawyer a zillion dollars in fees to learn about it...).
