Many HOAs are no longer allowing STRs within the associations. 

A great way to start networking is by attending RE events and joining a local investors association.

I was wondering if there is anyone that can provide some advice on property management/contractors or anything associated with having a property out of state.

Since joining a year and a half ago, Pace has launched additional programs that cover topics such as social media presence, learning Transaction Coordination, and business acquisition.

I’m thinking about  building storage units that I could sell and charge an association fee. 

It may take some searching to find one but inspectors who are associated with companies that build them or pump them will try to sell you their products.
