Last year I visited 7 different European countries and prices have gone up like crazy in the last few years.

In OR (and WA) most title companies are under the purview of state insurance commissioner that sets their rates. 

My wife is european citizenand we absolutely love italy, we just got married in Sorrento last year.

The building is brick and mortar with European style tile roof.

For a while, we had one power-mad commissioner that thought they should all have big "U" (ie Unsafe) signs on each one. 

I don't know about FL, but in OR the state insurance commissioner sets rates, so outside of "running around" fees, they're all the same.However, if you're doing investment property, I'd look for an escrow officer with experience in that. 

In many European countries evictions are very cumbersome; in Italy it takes 4 years to evict I am told, and yet real estate continues to be a popular investment.

Title company saw all the outlandish Eastern European names involved in the title search and got all flustered, rubber-stamped the title search and sold us a policy.
