The most important aspect is that the floor is reasonably level and flat....no ridges or big bumps.With some vinyl planks, they specifically state NO UNDERLAYMENT..... other its ok....Based on your pix, this should be pretty easy to fix without placing plywood across the entire floor.....

You could look at the new "all in one" loan from Ridge lending, as I am, and you will probably see that your ability to get money out to buy your next property or finance it with another All in One is pretty amazing.

The posts are holding up the ridge beam which holds the upper gambrel roof from sagging.
