Grow wide first, then deep (pay off)- your little expenses add up fast

You have lots of options in the Southeast and Texas. 

Insurance was way more expensive this time—which I've heard is a nation-wide phenomenon—and it's the first time since the NAR settlement that we've purchased, so we had to cover part of our agent's compensation.

There are a lot of proposed legislative changes coming up state wide and also municipality based.

With the city contemplating expanding the ADU ability to city wide, is there any benefit to doing a rezoning now (assuming successful) before the citywide expansion takes place?

If that’s the case, I’d recommend considering areas outside of Dallas proper where you can still find properties with strong growth potential.Cities like Prosper, Melissa, Princeton, and Anna are excellent options to explore.
