You can go really high end and attract either end buyers or vacationers that are into "less is more", "getting back to basics", "be more in tune with nature by leaving smaller footprint". 

This can lead to higher occupancy rates and rental income potential.STR Potential: The short-term rental market in South Florida is thriving, and Hollywood is well-positioned to attract vacationers and business travelers.

There isn’t a big hotel presence in the area, so vacationers are reliant on direct bookings and online travel agencies.

In the case of a nationwide shut down like we saw, if that happened again, I personally don't think we'd see a such a massive pent up demand from vacationers, and could see people operating as normal if any more mandates are imposed, but it's hard to say.

They ended up not getting the job, but I didn't require anything much different from the usual for vacationers. $500 deposit, monthly rent (I changed it for the winter months and LT) plus signing a proper rental agreement for the 90 days.

No reviews typically means a new listing, so that can be a risk for some vacationers, but for others an opportunity which you can market to.Good luck!
