In a perfect world......But I wouldn't hold your breath and I'd be surprised if there's anything more than sympathy for the criminal, much less punishment or a fine they will never collect anyway.

They almost never actually sue, and being evicted without having any place to go is not grounds for a lawsuit, and the judges in Oregon aren't going to have any sympathy.

If I don't miss my guess, they don't cash flow, and rent may not even cover PITI because it sounds like you got caught up in the "prices always rise" hype.I don't see banks having much sympathy for a situation like this.

It probably works sometimes, so he uses it for sympathy, money, whatever.I would recommend that you document every single conversation you have with him, as well as any complaints from the neighbors about him.

Of course, it also depends if you're looking to increase your cash flow with money that will be worth less each year, or whether you're trying to increase your real estate holdings which hopefully will be worth more in value each year.Again, I join the others in extending my sympathies for the things you've gone through the first part of this year.

Its hard for me to have sympathy, just because your poor doesn't mean you can trash the place especially when we were working with them.....big mistake.Our broker wasn't too sure about disclosure to future renters.
