For instance, if I stashed away 10% of the property value or a certain fixed amount in the account, can I then start diverting funds to a general account and snowballing the excess funds onto individual properties or as personal income?

I plan to stash 10% into a side account for any issues that arise.

Also, I have very little capital at the moment but I anticipate being able to stash some cash away in the time that I'm researching (I have no debt other than the two houses I own; one is rented and I plan to rent the other when I move out of the US).

Therefore, you need to increase income even farther, without taking on to much debt to screw up your ratio and have a big reserve stashed away.

I'm planning to stash my commissions to help build down payment money for my own brrrr buy and holds, much like wholesalers often plan to use the capital for more traditional investments, but being within the law, I'll be able to network and build connections without being shady.

I guess the mythical no money down deals are out there but I'm yet to come by any...I'd keep stashing cash, learn your marketplace, and buy a rental that makes good sense.
