You'll be able to meet others starting out as well as hear from guest speaker's and their education and knowledge on investments! 

I attend 3-5 meetups monthly and we have local meetup https://www.cirpp-live.com/ been arounds since 1974 and we meet twice a month (one network night at local spot food, drinks, socialize and one day 1130am-1pm guest speaker and food at I-Hotel on campus) that have found vendors, private lenders, etc.

Many of these invite speaker circuit gurus that are there to sell you their programs. 

There is one coming up in Mason, OH - October 31-2nd, that I will be one of many speakers at.

Each offers a economicupdate, market update, mortgage update, and have a guest speaker each monthcovering a special topic.

We cover topics relevant to MTRs and often include guest speakers on topics ranging from financing your MTR to co-hosting to getting insurance placement bookings.

It's small right now and mainly just for networking and as we grow I'll bring on speakers and various panels.

I would say this was the least organized BPCon (no cevent App, poor email distribution, my workshop that was $300 had about 20% attendance rate) I have been to, with the worse room problems (both ac and hot water problems in my room), and the hurricane issue (they cancelled the meal but many of the restaurants required reservations that we did not make because we were expecting the meal), and in my opinion worse keynote speakers even when one was a repeat (I like David Greene keynotes, but …), I enjoyed this BPCon more than the others I attended. 

Or in my day a Zig Zeigler event ( I loved that guy) or Robert Schuler would have some top speakers at his events as well.
