That's just the tile, not the labor, mortar, grout, and backerboard, and fasteners... just figure out your floor area and start multiplying as a single example of how expensive these things can get)that seems waaaay more extreme than anything I was planning...I was just wanting to pretty much re-decorate the house...lolMAYBE open up one wall... but definitely not tearing a roof off, or changing the foundation.

Nope, the only thing I saw were the batteries, that could be on you under your lease, they can't redecorate and charge you to install anything!
