My initial reaction is "none of your business."

Knee-jerk reaction. 

However, the immediate reaction of many when someone has ONE issue is "well you must need a PM" I just don't think that's the case.Of course scaling involves hiring a PM.

My reactions: - There is no allowance for bad debt or vacancy, which will happen at some point - Repairs & maintenance are VERY low. 

I like to think I've perfected them in a way where it's all part of a system, rather than a separate knee reaction. 

In short, if you're not renting every week of July-August and every weekend of the winter, you're taking losses, particularly given the ridiculous prices I'm seeing new investors pay farther north in vacation areas like North Conway or the White Mountains.And looking solely at North Conway's recent court case is a red herring: plenty of small towns around the NH continue to enact knee-jerk reactions and excessive permitting/regulations as a reaction to STRs assumed role raising housing prices and shrinking supply for local residents.

In the beta program, tenant's reactions have been mixed but it may be a generational issue over who is more apt to want pay online versus by written check.
