My budget will be around $200k but I’m meeting with a lender on Tuesday to go over all of my options.

Only 3 of the 6 meetings have happened though.

I want to use this forum to meet other real estate professionals (experienced and newbies) and hopefully find business partners.

Would going to local real estate meet ups be the best way to find potential investors I could partner with?

I do have folks that don't book because of that.That is a good thing as not understanding the distance to get places will create bad blood and cause those 2 and 3 star reviews which no one wants to see.Like @John Underwood, our place isn't cheap so we don't get the folks that destroy places.The bottom line is that you are renting out an expensive asset to strangers for 3-10 days or whatever.

@Asseille OdelCFRI.netCheck out the calendar of events and start volunteering - it’s the best way to meet people there.

It wouldn't hurt to set up time to meet with agents, property managers, lenders, and others while you’re visiting your markets of interst.

Who would like to schedule a meet and greet? 

I would love to meet and network to people in South Florida , and find a mentor or someone who has taken a similar investment route that I am doing from flipping to owning rental properties.Really just meet likeminded people.
