However, it took some introspection and a bit of honesty to understand that issue was my expectations.

People remember how you make them feel.I think it's awesome he responded honestly instead of just going silent - I respect that sort of behavior.As a sort of side comment, when people talk about difficulties dealing with "out of state" properties, this is one of many examples they're talking about.Sounds like you're introspective about the whole thing - sure this will work out fine eventually. 

Introspection is always healthy.

After a lifetime of investing and experience in these situations, many may have an answer ready that does not require introspective reflection of a period acceptable to you.

It’s a big leap of faith… but it starts with introspection and a plan… maybe it takes more education… look at your skill set and what interests you.  

Instead of assuming that the issue is with how we run our businesses or treat our employees, perhaps you should take a more introspective view of your own company and costs structures.
