I don't agree that there are any woman/man/gender fluid persons in this world that don't deserve more then what they have.

That grease is gender neutral. 

@Samantha Decker If you specify tenant criteria (gender, age, etc), is that considered discrimination?

For what it's worth, contractors can be difficult regardless of your race, gender, or location!  

The difference isn't gender related, but rather it's confidence influenced.

While I know I have much to learn about being a landlord, I seem to get a lot of unsolicited and obvious advice from the male gender on how I should run my business, especially from people not in real estate. 

There policy was to only place same gender into an apartment unless the tenants indicated they had no preference. 

So if someone is denied, you can show that it was because they did not meet your written screening criteria, not because you were unfairly discriminating against them.Renting to males and not to females is pretty clear-cut gender discrimination right there. 

In my area, that includes the following:Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Familial Status, National Origin, Disability, Military Status, Sexual Orientation, Age, Creed, Marital Status, Gender Identity, Source of Income, Immigration and Citizenship StatusBeing 19 y/o, the tenant is feels that this is unfair treatment based on age.
