The inspector that charged me $400 for the inspection totally missed a one foot diameter area in the dining room along the garage side wall that when stepped on, sinks in about 3-4".The floor had been recently upgraded to that floating laminate material.

I do the same for plumbing as well where I "Harden" the rental by upgrading diameter on the drainage piping to 2" and gluing them together not using the screw type.

Pending on the water table and soil conditions in your area, this can be as simple as punching 8-12 large (18-24") diameter holes in the bottom of the pool with a jackhammer {to allow for drainage} and then backfilling the pool.
