Small shop brokers that have access to multiple programs so that they aren't beholden to one or just a few loan programs will typically get the most competitive product for the borrower. 

You should invest where you feel you have a competitive advantage.

You just have to make it more exciting than the competition.

I don't believe that is the case, especially if you have a quality unit, priced competitively, and clear advertising.

But I think savvy investors will be able to navigate those laws to take advantage of artificially suppressed competition to do well.
