There are some old Victorian homes in Colorado Springs near the colleges and universities (downtown and north end).

Area I do not recommend is the Victorian 118 year old near SJSU.

This house was a 3000sqft 4-storied 1920s Victorian that had been vandalized and vacant with a leaking roof for 6 years.

It’s a 1920 Victorian which was converted to an up down duplex.

If I acquire a Victorian home with steep roofing, I am not even sure there are qualified roofers who can tackle the complexity.

If one tries to turn a house into a McMansion in a neighborhood full of original Victorians the neighbors will try to block it and buyers will walk.

The problem was that it was a Victorian home from the late 1800's, and during the 60's, a prior owner installed cement shingles that were loaded with Asbestos.
