@Chase Cannon, I'm in the Topsail Island area of NC and we are seeing good numbers for STRs. 

I was TDY (TAD for you Marine types) to the area for 4 months and lived on Topsail, but often found myself in Swansboro on the weekends.

I’m also a fan of Oak Island, Topsail, and Surf City.

I have been looking at property in Topsail and I am losing some sleep over the concern about global warming and hurricanes.I am concerned that even if you get decent flood insurance within budget, the insurer might not renew if the property presents too much risk.

Coastal NC - Wilmington, Topsail, Oak Isle, Holden Beach - are always great options for MTRs in the off season and STR in-season.

I have STR's near Holden Beach and on Topsail and would love to add one on OKI.

@Jordan DzubakWe currently invest in Topsail Island and I know others who invest in Carolina Beach or Holden Beach.

I go to Topsail, NC every year with my family.

I'm specifically looking at the North Carolina Coast (OBX, Atlantic Beach, Emerald Island, Ocean Isle, Oak Island, Holden Beach, Kure Beach, Surf City, Topsail, Carolina Beach, Wilmington).
