Coastal Carolina SFR

Hi BP! I'm looking for a vacation home on the Carolina coast that could potentially be used as an AirBnB setup in the future. What neighborhoods are popular around the SC/NC state line on the coast?

So far, I'm looking around Conway, North Myrtle Beach, Little River (SC), Calabash, Carolina Shores, Sunset Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, Shallotte (NC). I don't want to be right on the beach (hurricanes too scary), but within a short bike ride of the beaches would be ideal. Golf communities are okay - really just want an area that is family friendly and walkable.

I do have an agent I'm working with down there, but wanted to poll the audience for any investor-minded insights. Thanks in advance! Happy New Year!
