Building a social media following is one way to generate name recognition and to start establishing yourself as an expert in your field.

Thus why the media seeks me out on a consistent basis to weigh in on these things.

I did excessive due diligence on the company (combing through hours of BP reviews, BP forums, RTR webinars, reddit, podcasts, social media posts, connecting with other investors, etc).

There is knowledge to be found in these media forms, but knowledge isn't their first motivator.

the potential plaintiffs are trying to recruit all investors (probably at the suggestion of the attorney who’d like to of course get as large a settlement as possible) and “projecting” a little as to the state of their lawsuit on social media.  

Social media makes it look easy.

I believe this would make for very interesting news coverage on our blog, YouTube channel, podcast, and social media.
