On average, how much does a pool increase the HOI premium?

@Hoi Lee I have a property down in Louisiana that is on the edge of the a flood zone.

@Dexter Ho I haven't specifically read the books you mention but I am a big believer in reading.

I wasn't aware how the landlord insurance is about $1k cheaper than HOI which will bring down the mortgage payment but we still plan on overpaying the mortgage a bit.

I have a couple LTR/SFHs that I am carrying a Landlord policy on but recently my HOI carrier quoted me ACV instead "due to the age of the home". 

We're looking in Broward County and our HOI quotes for SFR are $6,000/year+ - I understand we need flood insurance down in those zip codes but with the added expenses we're finding it hard to break in.  

@Jared Wilson “best comment” yet worst advice... this is a known title issue and therefore coverage will be excluded if/when a claim is made.Try getting HOI on a home that has burned down.

Are there any suggestions on quality HOI companies?
