@Jason Hill I am looking at a property just north of Topeka High School & Grace Cathedral.

Or I might do as Colin suggests and see where we can cut some cuts- we had already sat with him to see where we could cut some costs e.g. changing some of the way the architect had designed the cathedral ceiling in the (as @Ryan D put it) coolest MIL ever.....

The numbers first:Purchase Price: $430,000 (Auction) (3 Normal Bed, 1 Master, 2 Full Baths, 1 Master Bath, Pool, Cathedral Living Room Ceiling, Attached 2 car Garage, Swimming Pool, 3500sqft on 1 acre)Outstanding Town Liens: $94,000 (I knew this as this was announced at auction.

Cathedral ceilings, walk in closet in master suite, tons of closets and built ins throughout. 

I've had two installed in two different large bedrooms, one with a 10' picture window and cathedral ceilings.  

I'll install batts on any angled ceilings (like cathedral or vaulted) and walls because cellulose compresses so much that it eventually leaves a big gap at the top.  

The house has a cathedral celling design, which is unique to the community so ... it gives me some interest to work on this house.Now, while looking at it, it has been empty for 2-3 years, apparently with windows opened.

Wonder what ever happened to the Crystal Cathedral?

It has created an entire little industry of commercial mold remediation to take care of what has always been part of the human condition.There was mold in the first caves that humanity took shelter in, mold in the Roman temples, mold in the Gothic cathedrals, mold in the teepees that the Indians erected on the prairies, mold in every camp, settlement, town, village, and city in the history of civilization.
