I live in idaho as an air traffic controller and I invest in oregon.

I'm currently a product designer (web/mobile apps/ipad) and I have saved a nice nest egg to invest and want something that will continue to grow and provide for me down the road of life.

The days of listing on the MLS and getting a ton of traffic isn't a strategy that's working well at the moment (not saying this is what you did, just giving insight broadly).

-from image perpective is that building that sounds attractive to not only move into but to sale in the future- its sitting on 0.3 of an acre.. parking traffic appears a little tight, but can organized to both left and right of the building to 1 car per unit.

The upside is it is in a highly desirable neighborhood, best schools in the region and central to shops, airport and more.The cons: It’s located on a two-lane road with moderate rush hour traffic.

You may consider placing signs in the area to attract calls from street traffic as well.  

I live in the wine country (probably too far - about 45 minutes with light traffic - light traffic in Portland would be weekends and off hours -to downtown Portland) but the rules are relatively easy to work with in many of my local communities which attract a lot of tourists. 

Traffic is a major issue.. so depending on if your commuting or not that can dictate where your going to live as well. ( or want to live.
