It's true that most of this can be done electronically, although I do prefer to meet folks face to face (i'm a little old school).  

@Rene Bee that is the national standard plumbing code he refers to  2021 NSPC (iapmo.org)  Look at page 119 printed on the page or 131 electronically I hadn't heard of it but NJ or local regulations may state you need hookups.
