Profile little old ladies, my thought was to take up volunteering at a local retirement home and just being social.Personally I'm loving the idea because I'm a huge fan of the 50's, need to work on my cribbage skills, and just love talking to retirees in general.Had it not been for Bill's suggestion I don't think I would have entertained the idea anytime soon.

I got into investing after realizing that I didn't want to be a slave to the whims of Art Directors, due to the fact that layoffs are very common in the game/entertainment industry.  

The people are friendly and it was convenient to shopping, physician, lifetime fitness, entertainment, banking etc.

Own a small entertainment company and I sell cars during the day.

As for a nice place to live, I personally always shoot for the best combination of highly rated public elementary schools (because elementary schools are most closely tied to real estate values), proximity to work (30 minutes or less), and proximity to entertainment/local attractions (30 minutes or less).

I am looking for a lump sum to just be done with them all, but would entertain selling them separately if need be. 

It doesn't' actually teach you anything about politics, it's just entertaining sensation porn.

There's a lot of great information and education here, including the educational and entertaining podcast.It's wonderful that you already attended a RI Real Estate Investor Group (RIREIG) meeting and I look forward to seeing you at future meetings too.One idea that came to me at that meeting, was to try to connect people who haven't done any deals, with people who have recently done (or are doing now) their first deal.So if you can find someone like that, I'd suggest taking them out for coffee, etc.

So, could only have one property or the other.Also, if they said they weren't interested in owner financing, they probably wouldn't entertain a master lease option.
