I bought a lot from a lady and she’s wanting to unload a house too.... trying to figure out if I want to do a dip or a long term...

One of my tenants, who is an elderly lady, rented my unit after she was informed of a $900 rent increase by her previous landlord (oh, the joys of not being under rent control).

and Kyle as a N CA guy you probably know Clearlake CA.. and the subject of this that took them down was a lady from Marin county wanted to build a retreat of sorts on an Island in Clearlake that could never in a thousand years be developed.. i knew the guys that owned it and tried and failed to develop it before she came along.I ran into Remington right out of the great GFC and sent them a one pager on a program i wanted to do personally it was fairly complicated.. and since I have decades of lending experience behind me.. they were way to quick to approve me subject to me sending them 10k for due diligence.. did not ask enough questions and this was not a straight forward remodel loan or buy hold loan. it was a semi complicated financing model..

I have a sub2 deal and the lady has been dead like 4 years.

@Brian Burke - that's why I'm always packin'lolThat other 120+ unit that we looked at - the nice lady at the one of the city offices told me that a couple of the buildings would work better being burnt...lol  That's not necessarily a negative is what I mean to say.

The lady he hangs out with had a nickname.

Called and found out it is a lady who is elderly and lives out of town.

This is already bad in an emergency situation.The lady was rude on the phone and didn't want to help me at all.

Often a week early.I have rented to a lady with 4 kids who just went through a divorce.
